6 week old baby culy q at end of tail

Hello, one of my recently hatched babies tail at the end is in the shape of a curly q, and it seems he is not using the tail, just keeps it up in the air, not using it for balance. Does anyone have any ideas? Should i just leave it alone? I was wondering if he bit his own tail or it got damaged. No I dont have any pics. A
