6 month old Veiled feeding?

It seems like Dubia would be far to large for 6 month old Veiled to eat? any info helpful.

The smaller dubia will be just fine for him. Dubia range in size from 1/4 inches as a nymph to 2 inches when they reach adulthood. At 6 months of age your veiled should be able to eat an appropriately sized dubia without a problem. My panther was eating the occasional dubia at 3 months of age. If you want to be on the safe side just make sure that the insect you are feeding is smaller than the distance between the chameleons eyes.

Thanks for the info, any suggestions as where to buy dubia in Southern California, or internet supplier? How many dubia do you feed typically? What about Fruit Flies? My veiled seems to not like crickets very much anymore.

Fruit flies are typically too small for a 6 month old. Try mulberryfarms.com
