That doesn't sound like alot of food to me, do you only offer locust or other feeders to? And what enclosure are you using? And lighting

hi ty for reply

i am using i think its 5.0 reptile shop told me to use
he is in x tall exo terra viv its very big
what other food should i offer i was gonna try wax worms and roaches
how many should he be eating i didnt know weather it was cas i got him last sat an hr away travel so thought maybe he is settling in

Crickets, locust, dubi roaches or any roaches, calci worms, silkworms, butterworms but you might not be able to get them atm

Online reptile suplyier, there is livefoodirect, livefoodstore, ricksonlinefoods, silkwormstore, all these sell a good range of feeders and are half the price of reptile shops, I order on a Sunday night, it's posted out on a Monday and recive it every Tuesday without fail but for dubi, lobster, hissing or banana roaches I find them cheapest on e bay

cheers ok an is it normal that he licks everything and what is the sniffing/snorting all about that he will do sometimes an do they tend to sometimes laze about as he does

he should easily be eating 15 feeders a day. Can you get silkworms? They are a good feeder. The roaches should be about the size of the locusts you are feeding. Don't feed anything too big.

It's normal for them to lick branches an that there just checking out where they are, are you suplimenting the feeders? And I will be honest a lot of people on here an me also don't really recommend using the glass Eco terra enclosures so if you sticking with it be sure to check the temps often as glass may cause it to over heat an wipe down the floor daily as the excess water won't have any ware to escape

yes i am gut loading with repashy and calci dusting how often do u calci dust everyday at this age and yes i will buy some silkworms if they are best how many wud i feed him of those a day with locust or roaches

i always keep my eye on temps an have not had a problem as of yet with it what exactly should temps be as theres so many diff iv seen

I have a basking temp around 86f and a drop to 74 ish and over night a drop to 65 f and mix it up, offer silkies on day then locust the next then roaches but mine are normally full after perhaps 7 silkies, if your buying silkworms read the care sheets on them as they die very easily
