I have noticed a few differences between the Euro keepers vs the US keepers. And one of them being lighting.

I think as Americans can access natural uv more often they dont need lighting as strong.

lmaoo, yea ok.This is true for the warmer states, but My Chams won't see natural sunlight till like May. Just too cold.

The boxes the Reptisun 5.0 and 10.0 tubes come in specifically state that black mesh cuts 50% of the light getting through. Depending on the size of your enclosure and how far from the top your fixture is, it might take a 10.0 to get the effect of a 5.0 in a screen cage.

But... ^^ Someone read the back of their Reptisun box!! lol
