If she tries too often there might be something wrong with the substrate like it is too wet or to dry.
Maybe you disturbed her too often and she won´t dare to lay them because of that.
It may help to cover the cage with a towel or something so she will have more peace.
@ djfishygillz: i do certainly not know much about this but i in your place would be afraid that she´s eggbound. Maybe someone with more knowledge about this can comment.
Well it is possible that the sand is too dry because I thought she was done last time .I did not add water and sift through the sand like I normally would. I have to say because of that I was afraid the sand would cave in on her but she seemed to dig and come out hours later fine. I know to leave her alone, so I keep my distance unless absolutley nessasary. Although if she starts digging again I will cover her cage. Anytime I have had an eggbound female they did not attempt to dig at all . Can she be eggbound and still go through the motions of digging and burying her eggs?
I would think it´s unusual for her to lay only two eggs and not the whole clutch.i dont think she would be egg bound if she already laid 2 eggs of the clutch, she just needs to pop out the rest. i put in 2 different kinds of substrate all at good moisture levels so i think i should be okay.

She might have problems with laying the remaining eggs because they might stick together or be too big.
How about watching her with a live-stream camera?
I´ve just recently seen a thread where somebody had a livestream to his digging female.
This way you can watch her aand she won´t notice.
