3D background and screen cage

Hello,

I'm still fixing my veiled new 2'x2'x4' screen cage enclosure and I'm planning to buy a 3D climbing wall. So it is styrofoam usually. How do you mount it to a screen wall? I can not use a glue...
And how do you hang plants from the ceiling? I really want plants him on the top and that seems a good idea.
Can anyone give me some advice?

I put a heavy wooden dowel across the top of the cage and run wire from inside the cage up over the dowel so the stick going all the way across the top holds the weight of the plant.
I would take thin wire and Go from the back to the front of the wall then from the front to the back. Use one wire and connect the back to the wall in at least 6 places. Each time you bring the wire to the back may sure you twist it tight so it will not get lose over time.

Thank you very much!
Thank you laurie! I'm not saying it seems easy :) but I'll do it then.
Thank you Chaka! I wouldn't try to do this I'm soooo not good, or my little guy can never move in. :)

And other any idea how mount the background to the screen?

I've heard of using Velcro to mount backgrounds to the screen. Probably depends on how heavy it is.

Oh, also magnets. Just attach magnets (or something magnetic) to the bg, then use the super strong neodymium magnets on the other side of the screen to snap it to the back.

Wow! Excellent idea! Magnets! I'll give a try for sure!
Thank you!
And other thing: how do you keep the live plants alive with that much water?? I have to swich them once in a while or they start to rot....

Increase the drainage of the potting soil and don't use a pot saucer (or if you must because of your cage bottom keep the saucer emptied). You can speed up soil drainage by adding very coarse sand larger chunks of perlite, pumice, or Hygroton fired clay balls to the lower levels of soil in the pot and putting a layer of rocks in the bottom of the pot. Make sure the pot has good drain holes. Don't use fine sand as that tends to reduce the amount of air spaces in the soil and suffocate the roots.

How can I keep my live plants alive in a screen cage with a lot of water? I would be very happy if you could let me know, thanks. I know this is an old discussion but the answer to my question is very important I am appealing to the admin. Please approve my post, Thanks(y)

Hello and welcome! What kind of plants do you have? If your plants aren’t doing well the are either getting too much light, not enough t light / too much water or not enough water. You might also consider getting a plant light for your enclosure.
