Omg.. i am pissed off

my mom is trying to sell our house, and we were going to move, this lady, got a call from the bank saying that she can get money as a loan, and she could buy our house, so we put 30'000 dollars down on a trailer we were going to move into (My moms not exactly rich.) and then today, as were packing our stuff she phones us, and says she cant get the money... (#$@!) (!@#!) (@#!#) !!!

Now we are out 30'000$$$ unless we can sell our house FAST.

That sucks man, espically now:( wish you good luck

yeah..

Kinda might be a stupid thought, but since im 25% native, i go to a first nations school, and i can go anytime, even if im 30, so i was thinking i should drop out this year (GR 11) and work, help out my mom, and then school next year or something..

Or if we won the lottery.. :D

Shit happens.. unfortunately, it happened to us.

I hate seeing my mom cry

Man Levi I am so sorry. Sometimes things like this happen, and you just need to keep moving. Is it possible for you to get any of that money back or sell the trailer?

On a side note:
Is canadian money different than USD? $30,000 seems like a lot.

how terrible. Usually there are contracts that stop that sort of thing from happening. Maybe you can rent out your current home instead? I hope you do not drop out of school.

100% agreed - do your best to stay in school.

see but if i stay in school i honestly wont do good, to much stress,

if im working, id feel good, its kinda hard to explain, but like, when i know someone needs my help, and im not helping them, i feel like _ _ _ _.

ill try to stay in school..

and.. as for usd to can dollar, im not sure, but this trailer we were gonna move into was like 57 grand or something (New or almost new) and like.. a nice park kinda thing ya know?

Gated, he manages yards, not much noise, etc.

my mom is going to try to sell our house, cheaper, and if not, shes gonna put the 30 grand on her credit card, but we dont know how were gonna pay it..

if me and my bro were working, each month bringin in about 700 ea. keep 200 ea. thats 1000 altogether extra.

Pretty good, atleast til we find a way to make ends meet.

otherwise, we are not sure.

renting it out could be good.. thats some money coming in, maybe we might be able to make thing work Closer like that.. not gonna ask for anything this xmas though.. :p

Hope we can pull through, we might end up renting our sister in laws dads house.. not sure though..

I wonder if your band would give your mom a bridge loan, until your current home sold? That would be less expensive, probably, than the interest rate of a credit card.

Maybe just get a weekend job, to help with the bills a little, rather than dropping altogether. Even just one year off has a big impact. And its hard to go back when all your friends/classmates are ahead of you. In the long run, its not worth the money to miss out on the schooling.

Think long and hard regarding leaving school. Statistically the odds are stacked against you ever returning and completing your education. If you stay in school, you will have a greater potential for employment and at a higher paying job. Even if you are a few years away , eventually , you will be a greater help to your mother in the long run.
