Hi!! i am new to the forum and got a new 3 month old panther chameleon yesterday. I have everything pretty much set up, he is just not eating. I know for a little while chameleons don’t eat to their new environment, but this is my first time having a juvenile. i don’t know how long to wait till it starts being concerning. i have some superworms and small crickets set up in his cup, but he doesn’t seem to acknowledge them. help!! is there a specific kind they tend to like more?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You said it yourself "for a little while chameleons don’t eat to their new environment". Not only that, but it takes them a long time to feel comfortable eating in front of people. So if you're watching him constantly (which I don't blame you -- we all want to hover when we get a new cham) that isn't increasing his chances of eating.

The best things you can do are give him privacy and have your husbandry reviewed. If you could answer these questions in as much detail and post pics of your cham's enclosure it would be SUPER helpful to make sure your little guy is good to go: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/
