28 tiny white eggs.

I noticed my female rescue Daphne was gravid shortly after I rescued her. She hasn't been bred while she has been kept with me, but there is a really good chance she was bred with the previous owners with her last clutch of eggs. I'm wondering even if she has retained any sperm and it fertilized these eggs. I put in her 5 gallon bucket of damp sand since she was avoiding her smaller laying bin that is always kept in her enclosure. She ended up avoiding her larger laying bin until a few nights ago when I start to put in holes for her to check out. Well, this morning I noticed she decided to sleep very close to the laying bin. She ate her food and then decided to go down and explore. After school I saw her in her hold digging away to the bottom and then when I went out to do something and come back in to check on her and make sure it didn't cave in she was backed into the hole and laying. It looks so painful to push out that many eggs! They are all very white and tiny! I don't remember eggs being this tiny, I swear that my old Crested Geckos eggs were larger than these eggs. I put them in some hatch rite and turned on the incubator after it's been unplugged after the recent house fire. I am not just going to be waiting to see if they mold over or if they turn out to hatch in the next 7+ months. I'm very pleased that she had a small clutch. I cut her back on her feeders and kept her temperatures lower than normal, it definitely helped! Tomorrow evening I will be giving her a nice warm shower and lots of goodies. She deserves them for being so strong.

One thing after another eh Zac? :) She's done well, but you might have saved her life........ Now I'm not much of a spiritual kind of guy, but maybe this counts as a sign that you shouldn't be giving up on keeping reptiles just yet

I was able to snap a few pictures this morning. She got a big misting and a big breakfast. These eggs are so tiny.

How is she doing? Do you think the eggs have any chance?

She is doing great. I don't think they are fertile. They have already started to indent. Hopefully I'll be dodging a bullet, or 28. If they end up being fertile (I'll continue to incubate them for the next month and see if there are any further changes) then I'll have my hands full with green babies. I'll update this thread in the month to come.
