What does it mean if a Cham is halfway on the ground and has really dark colors?

I have a 6 month old abilomy panter cham. He's acting fine now, it was just the time he was acting wierd. I feed him alot and every morning and night so I can't imagin that he would still be hungry but it still seams that he is still always hungry.

you shudnt be feeding him at night...you do know this right???/

fedders can naw away at his sleeping body.

also mine has done this just not in dark colors...i think he is just maturing and looking for a mate...mine ussaly basks for a few hours then explores...only to reture to his perch up in a tree....no problems if he is in a adaquite encloser.

No I feed him in the mourning and at like 5. There usually isn't and more crickets in there after 5 min anyway but if there is I take them out befor he goes to bed

By the way try to post a question in your title, more people who can help you will read it instead of only the curious.. Most people don't bother to read threads with titles such as "????????????" or "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Don't forget to fill out that form and post a picture!

You asked..."What does it mean if a Cham is halfway on the ground and has really dark colors?"...it could be from the temperatures higher in the cage being too hot. It could be that he is not well. Sometimes they will do it if they are developing MBD. Are you sure its a male (because a female might do that if there was no suitable egglaying site in the cage)? Hard to know why your chameleon is sitting there without more information.

Chams usually eat a lot when they are young. when my veiled female was that old i fed her once until she could eat no more.
