2009 Blog Awards

The blogs or journals can be a great resource for keepers. Not only does it provide a more personal outlet compared to the forums, they can also be of great benefit to other chameleon keepers, whether current or future. To help recognize those that have contributed to this small but growing resource, I have put together the Blog Awards

I will accept nominations by pm for a short period of time and use those to create a list of finalists. Senior members will vote and the site staff will break any ties if needed. The top three members will get 100 rep points and an icon trophy. The 1st place winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to our chameleon bookstore.

The blogs have had a slow start, but over time members have shared some great info. Our first Blog Awards will recognize the member thought to have made the largest contribution before 2010. Going forward the awards will be split into multiple categories (journal, diy, overall, etc). Depending on blog activity, the Blog Awards will occur bi-annually or annually.
