recently my 2 female sambavas laid eggs, peachy dropped 17 eggs and peaches dropped 38 eggs.in the sand they looked very white but the shape was more like a torpedo shape.once i placd them in the perlite they didnt look so white they look more of a tan color from my experience with veiled eggs they look bad.
does anyone know if the torpedo shaped eggs will be good?
peachy's clutch is already getting dents and they are only 3 weeks incubating.
i nevr seen them mate ever,i placed them together for 1-3 days about2- 3 months ago.the male sambava is about 10 months old and he seems to want to chase the girls and thats all i ever seen.
there are some eggs that dont have a torpedo shape but are not very white could they be good?

Chances are that if the eggs were just dropped on the surface, they may not be good. I would still incubate them and wait and see. I have had different shape eggs hatch beofre. It's just a matter if they are fertile.

Remember that different egg laying substrates can stain and colour the eggs, damp sand will forsure depending on how long the eggs were buried in the sand;)
