This is the new screen cage I bought yesterday and the babies are still sleeping, only moving when there's food.

Me too, I see a little improvement already. When the fogger comes on they start opening there eyes and become active. But then there are some that don't look so well and don't do much but just sit there.

I bought 3 jackson chameleons last year and enitially they were all doing great then for seemingly no reason they all started doing what your Elliot's are doing and eventually died. I know someone else had a Jackson from the same clutch and same thing happened with his.
Now, I posted a thread trying to get some answers and didn't.
What I am now thinking (which is what you touched on via PM), could it be possible that the mothers of your Elliot and my jacksons (both live barers) had some sort of parasite which was passed on to the babies and then this parasite has taken 3 months to have a effect on the babies?
Especially since yours was WC.

If so, what treatment could be done?

She did have parasites but they were treated for about a month after they were born. I don't think the parasite can be passed on to the babies unless the lived in the same cage as the mom, which they didnt.
I am thinking when she was imported she didn't get the right type of nutrients and the babies weren't as strong as they should be. Or it could be a flaw in my care for them.

How big is temperature difference between night and day? By species like this one you need it otherwise they will be weak (how much thats question but 3-4 deg Celsius can be too little). If they do not have enough difference they do not sleep well. Montane species are sensitive to it. Higher temperature during day is less dangerous like warm nights.

If you can, expose them to unfiltered sun. Even if is outside just 15 deg Celsius do not worry, it makes wonders. Even jiust half hour daily will help. About 3 months often start D3 problems. Without meter you do not know how much emits your lamp.

Furthermore 5x daily misting in glass terrarium is too risky. In cage no problem, but I will not mist ANY chameleon more than twice daily in glass. Sometimes is works but often not.

Not knocking anybody, but its not a parasitic issue.

Give the air flow method a chance, like I said it took about ten days to see the improvements. Stronger ones will turn around faster. I'm wondering if your humidity might be a tad much. I'm not talking about percentages, I'm talking about duration. For example it tends to be more humid in the morning when there is dew to drink than the middle of the afternoon. I only misted twice a day and had great results. I can still remember back when I bought my first Holmes humidifier thinking how great it would be, then overdid it and got a few sick.

I still use my hand sprayer, that Holmes went into the trash when it died a year or so later.

I should add when I spray babies, I don't spray directly. I spray up and let a fine mist settle on them or spray directly areas they are not at. The goal is to have a fine "dew" on leaves etc etc.

Is there any air flow in their room? Even a simple table fan blowing up to the ceiling (never directly at the cage) will do the trick. I've put fans on timers to go off maybe an hour at a time twice a day. Air circulation is a big deal

What I do for night time drop is open my window a little bit (I live in Michigan) and it drops to about 64. Summer time I don't know what I'm going to do.
The door is open and what ever draft is in the house is what they get. I do have a fan that I could put in the room. Should I have it running day and night or just daytime?

Don't overdo it with the fan. Like I mentioned I only used mine for about two hours a day and broke that up into two 1hr bouts. My timer was set for 11am and 6pm. Make sure the fan is not blowing directly on the cage, just have some circulation in the room is all I'm saying.

if the weather is nice, in the 70's for example, taking them out for an hour of sunlight per day would be helpful. Just make sure you don't cook them.

Ok I have my fan all set and the babies are still sleeping but they all don't look like they did the other day. They looked like they were on death row. I live in an apartment so I'll try to get them out as much as possible.
So now only time will tell! Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

Naw, can't see it. Could be it flushing something out but there's no way to tell. You said some are looking better. Give it the ten days and cross your fingers. Doesn't sound like much more you can do

new update 3 more died today. in one week they will be 3 months old.
i have sat and observed them yesterday. i have come up with a solution, the only time they open they're eyes is when the fogger is on. what i have done is turned the fogger so it goes on more often but less fog. which seems to be helping. the ones that died were skinny and frail, i have been putting in tons and ton of fruit flies. i have 6 left of 12 i originally had.

That sucks, sorry to hear.
How well are the last 6 eating?

This is simply not true. MANY people use glass for many years without issue including myself...

I assume you may have never even used a terrarium and your assumptions are all here say..
