So just to be clear, I turn off both lights @ night? I have the reptisun 5.0 and 60watt day bulb. I live in NJ should I have any kind of night lighting for heat?

Temps can go down to 50F before you need heat. A nite time temp drop is good for them:) If it goes below 50F use a ceramic heat emitter as already stated;)

Ok. Great the room she will be in never gets below 70. I have a temp of 88 under the day light (basking) and 72-75 in the lower left corner. Thanks guys ;)

I turn mine on at 7am and off at 7pm. Sometimes they seem to "turn in" early and I will just turn them off earlier when they "assume their (sleeping) positions".

I would like to point out before anyone freaks out.

Sometimes chams will be awake before lights come on, and be asleep before lights go out.

if they can see sunlight from outside, and the sun goes down, they will sometimes be asleep.

Now, if the cham is sleeping in the middle of the day, that is bad.

But if they are asleep an hour or so before lights go off, more than likely it is nothing to worry about.

I also feel like it may have something to do with their internal clocks, they tend to get into a rhythm and no when things are about to happen
