All of Lee's are sweet little friendly jann babies. I think pepper got switched at birth. Could you check? He really does protect his cage. He has already moved up a cage size so me has more space to cruise. Maybe if I kept him in a shoebox he would be happy to see me and not bite me. He is the only cham I have thats bites. I feel like I am getting an "F" in cham mommy.

Laurie, dont feel bad, Luca lunges at me when I first put my hand in his cage too. If I lay my hand flat in front of him, he is more likely to just walk on my hand, but if I try to pick him up - he gets pissy - once he is out of the cage though - he becomes a different cham altogether!

Aaawww guys!!! I feel bad for you Laurie, though I don't think it's you. So, still an A+ for chammommy!! All three of my veileds lunge, hiss, and have fits for me. Bean is isn't quite as bad as the boys, but we'll see. Maybe he is just growing into his big boy pants a little early. He should get better for you. Too bad they don't make "cham bones" to bribe them with!!! Perhaps we could cover some bugs with chocolate????

Laurie, if you'd like you can ship Pepper back and I'll ship you the friendly male that I have left and see what I can do with Pepper in a more free range situation. You said he gets off of his plant allot when you free range him. Heather (bridgeofaith) free ranges her babies and she puts the free range plant in another very large plant pot so if they come down off the free range plant they can't get out of the large pot. You might want to try that or I'll be happy to take him back. I want him to be nice and you to be happy with him.

Lol, did he break skin? Pan did the death roll attack on my ring finger when he was little! I bet he's testing his limits? Do chams do that? Maybe if you just take it he will realize that biting doesn't do anything?
