its just one of the many sacrafices we make when we say the oathe. we have wifes and kids but our branch our troops our units and our country and mission come first everything else comes second. so many spouses and americans need to know that and what they are getting into but in the long run and the educated that want to learn know that. thats why its called selfless service!!!

i was proud everytime my dad left for war. i think he left 4 times if not 5 for 8month deployment (one was when i was a baby) the others all in okinawa. what an awsome dad to fight for my country and keep me and everyone safe!

Do you guys wear poppies to remember the fallen on Remembrance Day?? In the U.K we do, i'd like to take the time to say thank you to every soldier who has give their lives for our tomorrow and R.I.P to two very good friends of mine who were sadly killed in afghan and also R.I.P to all the other soldiers that lost their lives mainly in the British 3 rifles which is what my brother is in.

Three of my uncles were in the second world war. Luckily 2 came back without any injuries and the third had his hand blown off by a grenade. My father was too young to go. No matter what the war is, I'm thankful for all the people who fight in them but wish there would be no more need for it at the same time.
