1000th post

So I have been waiting to post something profound, uplifting, useful on this 1000th post, but I have been waiting 5 days and I got nada :p

So instead I decided to just thank some people for being there for me, all the time and others that I greatly respect here for their opinions, information, and how they handle themselves here.

First would have to be Suzi and Ben, we talk pretty much every nite about things other than our chams (well, that too!) and I cant wait to meet Suzi and her family in person.

Of course, without an explanation, Jann, Carol and Olimpia for the above mentioned reasons Thank you gurls for everything you do.

To Todd at LYR, amazing info on everything lights, Kevin at AquaZamp for your patience while I figure out my cages, and so willing to help me with everything.

And then there is a bunch of people who make me laugh all the time here and help me when I need it.

Im sorry this is long, I could go for another while, but Thank You to the forums and the amazing people here!>

Now, finally I can go back to posting dribble and nonsense :D

I wish I had something uplifting to say, too!

But all I can think of is congrats on 1,000!

Oh here's something uplifting: You've made it almost a year and you haven't quit! Pretty soon it will be time to join a Reptiles Anonymous group. :p
 
Thank you Sabrina!, I actually sculked around here for about 6mo before joining otherwise I would have been at my 1 yr mark, that would have been cool, 1yr, 1000th post!

Glad you made the jump to become a member, I wish that I skulked around a few months before joining, too, otherwise I might have a better reputation on the forums..
(What can I say I was young and stupid, and I still probably am in many aspects of the phrase but, to quote a senior quote, gets on my "pet peeves" to hear it).

But you have to embrace it, yeah? Look back on what you started out as and see how far you've come.
Never compare yourself to other people, compare yourself to what you've done, if you feel the need to compare anything at all.
I don't know why people feel the need to compare people to other people, really. I'm guilty of it but lately, because of certain situations going on, and I have been a little more emotional. And no, I don't mean my monthly gift. :rolleyes:

Sorry, I'll get off my soap box like I've done so many times tonight. Forgive me, y'all, my excuse is a mid-mid-life crisis...
 
Congrats Ann on your 1000th post! The time does fly! I am nearing 6000!!! that means I spend WAY too much time on here, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It is pure enjoyment to be a member on here! Thank you for acknowledging me. I am not quite sure that I am that deserving lol!!! You should pat yourself on the back also, as you are one of the nicer people here on the forum! Well, here's to another 1,000 and another and another....:D

Carol, I thank you for acknowleging my post, the 3 of you have done more for the people here than you will ever know. and whenever I see a post from you girls I read it, assuming I will learn something. I love having a group of "girls over...." I think we rock with our age and wisdom, insight, patience and knowledge. and it gives us a little wiggle room to be overprotective and bossy!!

ive been waiting for the 1000th post! this is seems quite fitting to me, cant imagine a better 1000th post. thank you for the mention :D and thanks for all the help youve given me and everyone else! heres to 1000 more! :cool:

when i saw you were over 1000 i had to come see what you saved it for right away. hahaha. im a nerd.
 
I should quit posting altogether at my 9,999th post just to leave all of you hanging.
 
Sabrina, I thought of just stopping at 999, cant imagine what to do at 9999!, guess im gonna have to wait by the seat of my pants to see whatcha gonna do!

Ben, how could I not mention you?! You know more about me than my mother!!!! especially how ignorant I am with all things tech
 
Unless I make my 9,999th post one to remember, I don't think anyone will notice (or that I will even make it to 9,000 for that matter)
that I've hit 10,000 until long after the fact. I probably won't even notice myself, it all blurs together after 4,000.... :rolleyes: :p

....Unless (there is an ongoing conspiracy within the Syn Cult) the system knows, once you've hit 10,000 it forces a reset to save memory...
except JannB has found a way around this! Quickly, everyone PM her asking about the override so she is confused and has to send us the answer! :p

Jann, we were sneaking around earlier and looked at your impressive post #'s!! Wow!, and you stay sane with all those!!
thank you for your very kind words. I feel very lucky to have made some great, intelligent, informative friends here. I cant imagine I will ever stop coming to you and Carol for help!
