10 Crix/Day @ 3.5 Months?

So my chameleon is about 3.5 months old now, male veiled. He used to eat 15-20 crix a day but has slowed down to about 10. I am feeding him 1/2" crix, supplementing with calcium every other day, and multi and calicum with d3 twice a month.

He seems a bit skinny, but refuses to eat more than 10 a day. I even tried splitting up his feedings and had no luck.

He also decided today that he does not like meal worms anymore. He won't touch them.

I am worried about him becoming malnourished, or being underweight.

He has grown a lot since I first got him at 2 months, I just want to make sure I am doing whatever possible to keep him healthy and alive.

at 10 1/2's a day i dont think you will have any malnourishment issues, just keep an eye one him.. i usually watch the poo's if they are staying normal, than its a good sign. its not uncommon for a chams eating habbits to change,

Are there any resources to see what his poo should look like? The white part is bright white, so I know he's not dehydrated, but what about the rest? To me it almost looks like bird poop, small black spot, small white spot.

im feeding my 3 month old veiled a silkworm everyday and they are about 2 inches big give or take a half inches....hes eating one everyday...hes running around and seems fine. 1 huge silkworm is equal to about at least 10 half inch crix if not more with much more nutrition comparison.

um im sure there are some poop pics somewhere, my guys always have about 4/5 light to dark brown typical turds solid and round with about 1/5 brite white urate. i dont have apic but ill see if i can find one.

if your cham is skinny get some mealworms, they have a very high fat content, just dont overfeed or they will get stomach problems

i would personally stay on crickets. just give them good gutload and dust like you are. 10 crickets is a good meal.

i got a 3 month old veiled chameleon and he ate 6 1/2 inch crux today.....i think thats a hefty amount for his age....
