1 week into having a veild chameleon.

Hi guys I got the temp back to 83 Nd not much change. She hasn't eaten. She walking but is still lethargic? It' been like about 5 days since she's eaten. I have a drip going almost 24/7 . I'm misting every few hours. When she walks her grip is fine she's still strong. Do you think it could be time for her to lay eggs? I know they'd be infertile but could this be stopping her from eating ? I need to get a lay box but she' so small I thought it was to early .?

Pictures please. Happy New Year!!! :):p:D:p:D:)

Please post a recent photo of her.

If the temperature was the reason she wasn't eating she should have started by now I think....so there must be something else going on. Could she have eaten any of the moss?

Just took these right now. I don' want to say it' not possible she ate the moss , becaus anything could be possible, but I've NEVER seen her go down there Nd there' is very little in the corner ?

I have a little girl too, and she got dehydrated real bad once, but the water dripping on her nose worked. I am not sure why she is isn't taking that, but it might be bevause she is just timid and scared of all of the new things. Give her a little bit of time, keep track on how much she is eating, and how much. If she isn't eating, you probably need a vet.

Right now is the most active I've seen her! She roaming all on the top and hanging upside down Nd just roaming back and forth. I'e read this could be a sign She s eggboung?

Have you been weighing her? If not, can you see lumps in her stomach? It might not be a sign of egg retention, but being restless is a sign of pregnancy. Plus, her not eating food for a few days may mean she is ready to lay. But usually female chameleons still drink water, even if they hold off from eating. You might want to put a laying bin full of topsoil and play sand so that if she does need to lay, she can.
