I can relate.
Try to get your mind to think about how your body feels rather than running through situations at work.
This can be done by starting at your toes, trying to relax them as completely and comfortably as possible, and then inching your way up your body - arches of your feet- ankles- calves- knees - belly - upper back - neck- head - arms -hands - fingers- etc. If you are still awake when you are done, you can try to relax further into your body with each breath. This keeps the mind focused on the sensations in your body, rather than whatever is stressing you. Once the mind is relaxed by releasing the stuff from work, hopefully you will fall asleep.
