Tamatave Hatchling!!

This is from a clutch my WC Tamatave laid 2 weeks after I got her. Let me tell you these eggs have been through it! The incubator broke then after removing them and cussing for a while I put them in the closet, then my air conditioner broke !! Lets just say the ghetto McGuiver in me came out and I had to get clever on ways to keep them cool and I'm glad I got them to incubate at least 8 months.

So here is the first one out of the egg and is one active booger.










More are pipping so this guy wont be alone for long!

Yes! I want to hug him and squeeze him and love him forever lol! Since I cant I guess just staring at him for hours will have to do

Thanks! Can't lie I've been nervous for 2 months now. Theres 22 eggs.

Congrats! I candeled mine tonight and I can see tiny Chameleons in them. No more just veins. I'm like a little kid and Christmas waiting for them to hatch!

Bahh, I know right!? It seems like they have hit a growth spurt in their eggs! LOL I candeled about 8 of them all together and about 5 are dented and I just recently boosted the humidity up a bit.. I candeled them also and could so nothing but black.

Time will tell! I am wanting to see what a Chameleon actually looks like in its eggs as someone is candeling it!

Yes they are I've raised several hatchlings from a couple days old but never my own clutch (I say that like I layed them lmao)

I said female when I first saw her! Dang I shoulda bet my roommate lol

Lol I never candled these guys, the growth of the eggs made it pretty obvious.

How far into incubation are they?

You should have bet!! Id bet the ranch on it

No sense in candling them IMO. If they are going to hatch they will hatch. Why make it even more difficult by moving the eggs and fussing with them?

Just saw this Jess. Big time congrats! I know you must be soo stoked. These came from the wc's you got from Ray right. So cool new bloodline being introduced to the states.
