Well found a vet yesterday but they were closing and i could not afford the emergency vet cost so was going to take him today at 12pm. He looked better this morning his eyes looked normal (not bulged out like yesterday) and open he was moving around a bit but still slow, i gave him some water...

He was fine yesterday i was looking at him for some time, and no problems this morning that i noticed. Thanks xantho for the list i'm calling around now.

Took him out to look down his throat, he opened his eyes and gaped moved very slow, after 5 sec he settled down and just sat there with eyes closed again. had to take him off my finger and put him back on the branch because he would not climb back in on his own.

saw him poop yesterday, looked good. They were micro super worms, were about the same size maybe lil longer than the 1/4 crix but not near as fat. At the time i wrote that.

I hope he does not die i would be heart broken :( I have a call into another vet but they are over an hr and a half away and i would not make it in time. I can take him tomorrow after work, i only hope he can hold on that long. Just crushes me that he was fine this morning and now like this...

agreed, they work great and you don't see them as with wire, zip ties, ect.

I use a stick to get him out the cage, I put it in front of him and then with other hand start slowly moving toward him and he gets on the stick. Then i take him out and let him chill for a sec and (climb on my hand if he wants to) then the scale (i put the scale on a high table and my hand...

jmo but i would invest in a scale, they are cheap at any office supply store or wally world. I look forward to putting my lil guy on the scale every week to see what he has gained :D and once he gets older i'll know when to start to cut back on the food.

how many nozzles do you have and how many total minutes are you running a day? I have 2 nozzles and run for 17min total a day and my 5 gal bucket goes for about a week.

it will only spit out what amount is in the container you have. so say keep your water in a 5gal bucket you only need a 5gal bucket to catch it ;) 5gal should last you a week or more.

Took the little man outside for his first time ever today for about an hour. I think he loved it, he showed some colors i have not seen before. Was his first experience with the wind too because seemed as though he did not like when his branches would shake :rolleyes:
