I know there have been threads before about different set ups, but I just wanted to see what you experienced breeders have found work best for you when housing neonates. I have seen people use butterfly enclosures or plastic tubs...what works best for you?

So last night, my boyfriend and I were watching TV when all of a sudden my boyfriend looks over and says "Kamish, what are you doing?!?!" So, of course, I immediately look to see what he is talking about and see Kamish pulling himself up from being upside down (hanging from a vine by his tail)...

I bought 4 FF cultures and just transferred one of them into 6 different smaller cultures so I should have a ton in a couple weeks :) Right now one ooth is in a small screen enclosure and the other is in a plastic tub waiting to hatch still. When they get bigger, I'll have to separate them into...

I got a couple mantis ooths a few weeks ago and they are starting to hatch now! There are little baby mantises running around everywhere! I can't wait to feed them to Kamish!

When Kamish was younger he used to chomp on the dead leaves, if there were any. He's stopped that but I've found leaved with bite marks taken out of them lol As long as he doesn't eat all of the leaves, you'll be fine :)

My boyfriend's blue bar is exactly like this. He is red almost all of the time, but when he does want to be blue, he is blue! I think no matter which one you get, you will like him either way. You could always get both :)

Haha I know exactly what you mean. Kamish LOVES food! I thought he would slow down when he got older, but he eats more than ever. I skip some days (like today) and he roams around his cage all day like he missed me putting in food and is looking for it. I don't see him slowing down anytime soon :)

I just ordered a couple ooths and some FF's and they are on their way as we speak..I can't wait to give Kamish a mantis!

They are so easy to get attached to! It's weird when you don't have to go through your normal routine everyday. You'll be back soon enough with your little Karma!
