My best advice is to put the cup under the branch it will use for basking or uvb. Its crazy I free Range and if I move a branch my chameleons will stand next to where the branch was and be puzzeled.

Ummmm how late at night do you feed because its bad to feed before lights out due to them not having time to digest. I feed every day same time 9am.

I second always feeding ur feeders good its kinda like any feeder you dont only feed them good right before the butcher. You want all the nutrition to soak into there muscles.
