My panther just shed yesterday and he has shed stuck on his rostral process and spine of his tail. Any tips for removal?
And since I already have a thread going, has anyone had any luck with getting silkworms? If you have, could you PM me?
This member wrote the article below and has had CB carpets for sale on the forum. If you go through his posts you can see a lot of pictures he has taken.

Here's an article about them. you may have already come across this...
Syn, I know those are his fired-up colors, but I just find it odd that the color is black, as I've never seen another fired-up cham at his age display black really. When he fires up now versus when he was a little younger, his eye-turrets go red as opposed to black. At rest the bars are blue...
Hello All,
I have a panther that is a little over 6 months old, and has a decent amount of color, however, will show black in his bars occassionally, which I thought was odd. I'm just wondering if he'll grow out of this or if they are permanent? In all of the photos I've seen, I've never seen...
Kent, what exactly is the significance of that? Also, if looked at closely, doesn't the adult sibling have a Y-bar and not a V-bar(alos not sure of the significance of that)?
You could go with a bush and a plant stand to lift it.
PedroANDAshley, it's true they can be tough to keep indoors due to their light requirements. In order to get around this, some people rotate which plants they keep in their cage, while others get special bulbs to encourage growth. They...
Absolutely don't use a water dish, just spray the cage.
For supplementation use the RepCal brand(can be bought at www.lllreptile.com, possibly your local petshop, or a reptile expo) and the schedule for a juvenile veiled or panther should be:
Calcium without D3 every feeding
Calcium with D3...
In regard to the 3/4 screen cover at the top, does that mean the other 1/4 is covered by glass? This limits where keepers can put the lighting elements. Also, IMHO it would be a good idea to include something to fasten the heat lamp to, many keepers do this anyways after purchase, so it would...
I've seen all of the "lost cham" threads. He isn't in a cage, however, I put him in an outdoor potted plant away from anything he could cling onto and sit out there with him until I bring him in. I would be mortified if I lost him!
So I took Marty(ambanja) outside today, and here he is. He is a little over 5 months and has been displaying a variety of blues, greens, yellows and reds around his turrets and gular region aswell as red spots when he is sleeping on his whole body. When I first got him, I thought he was a red...
1. It typically depends on the wattage and ambient temperature. To be safe i secured metal brackets to the frame and have the heat lamp lifted about half an inch away from the screen.
2. veileds are typically considereda "starter" cham, along with panthers, because they both tolerate mistakes...
