    i think my male veileds tounge has become shorter or weeker he still eats fine and drinks but when i watch him eat he has to get a lot closer to his prey then he use to.his tounge seems a lot slower when he shoots it to. i am not cup feeding him.he is also still very active, its just his tounge

    hey my cham went to sleep like 20 minutes before the lights went off i recently added about a foot in hieghth to the cage so i think he might have just been tired i dont know

    i read that the basking spot should be like 95 to 105 so ya but it isnt a big deal for me to decrease the temp i was just telling you what i ve heard i ve had him for about 4 months now and he hasnt been burnt

    my cham is a male veiled about 6 months old it seems like he stays a darker brown color during the day but still displays little green on his belly the temps are 84 f and the basking spot is is about 103 f

    no it is not neccesary most of the time it is not recommended because they are a possible threat to your cham it is possible for him to drown in it

    its most likely about to shed so i dont think there is anything to worry about just give it a day or to and he should begin his shed.thats what my veiled does when he is about to shed

    no i always fill his cage that i use for sunning with a thick hibiscus plant where he can choose to bask in the light or hide in the shade i just wanted to know how long people set there chameleons out in the sun
