    My first Yemen hatchlings

These hopefully should be real beauts as the Male is a really colourful guy from a German Breeder and the sire of the Female was massive and looked like Godzilla - hoping for a good combination of size and colour :)

    My first Yemen hatchlings

Cheers - 29 eggs and around 15 out safely so far ... incubated at low temps for 6-7 months - hence the 9 months and 8 days (y)

    Usa to UK

I am usually jealous of the different species of chameleon and the prices (usually they are so cheap in comparison) available in the US! ;) ...... anyway unfortunately I don't think it will be very easy or cost effective to import to the US (especially in small numbers) ... you are best off...

    Going Away

2-3 weeks is a bit long. I went for a week with inexperienced family members watering and feeding - which was fine. If it is 2-3 weeks then you should probably find someone experienced in chameleons to help or perhaps a reputable Pet Store that has experience in chameleons that offers an...

5 week old male veiled chameleon questions

It does look like a Veiled to me (the first pictures seem to be baby stress colours, and the later picture with the lime green and white spots down the flank seems to tally) but the casque on the head is very under-developed. Perhaps this will develop as the baby grows as 5 weeks is very young...

    Purchased jacksonii from import_need some advises_not eating_THANKS

Yes in Europe is is harder to get Jacksons than the US so often you have to take the chance with Wild Caught/Farmed from Africa. Some will eventually settle and adapt but some just won't. I had a pair - the female flourished but the male did not sadly. It depends what conditions they have been...

    Backgrounds and Sides Screen Vivariums??

Hi thanks for all of the messages. I do need something to prevent neighbouring cages from seeing each other (currently cardboard that doesn't look great), but also stopping water spray escaping the cage is another good reason. Thinking of perhaps covering the corrugated plastic panels with a...

    Backgrounds and Sides Screen Vivariums??

Hello All, Looking for some ideas from you and what you all use for Backgrounds/Sides for the larger screen vivariums. I want something that is practical, looks good (ideally natural looking) and that is not too expensive. I like the natural cork bark panels but the commercially available cork...
