It’s most of his body and tail that still hasn't shed

He has been “shedding” for two weeks. He is a juvenile veiled and normally finishes within 2-3 days. Most of his face, casque, and feet finished, but that’s all. He isn’t scratching at it either. I’m not sure what to do and there are no vets anywhere near us. Humidity is usually 30-40%

This may just mean she is to lay soon. As long everything is normal she should be fine

What time is it? They be ready to sleep. Or you can try luring them out a little with a treat bug/food. Also, leave the basking bulb on the 12 hour schedule. Turning it off early may make them think it’s getting dark and it time for bed.

It’s better to just leave a lay bin in her enclosure. That way she can lay her eggs when she’s ready.

No. Usually you just keep it on for the 12 hours of day time. If left on overnight it may just be a waste of water.

This may be a dumb question, but I was wandering what are the signs of a chameleon ready to go to sleep? I just got a juvenile chameleon and he keeps hiding in the plants. I’m not sure if he is ready to sleep or if he is exploring. Thank you
