My male panther chameleon is closing one eye. He does not keep it closed all day. He will close it open it close it but sometimes keeps it closed for a good 10-20 min. Is this normal? I have 2 vields and they’ve never done this but have never owned a panther.

I use a mister but have a hand misting one i can use for mean time... the problem is here in texas there are no waters at all because of the coronavirus, and i am down to my last water for them. So can i use just tap water for spraying their cages a few times a day, or is that a bad idea?

I have 2 veiled chameleons and have been using distilled or spring water for misting and dripping, I am just curious if the type of water really matters. Does it have to be distilled or spring, can I use just fountain water, or Purified water?

We thought she was done too.. i just counted her eggs so far she has almost 50.

well we took her out bc she was buried. but we put her on a branch and she is still dropping eggs. so i’m just going to leave her laying for now.

so i used this sand stuff. and she did lay her eggs but the sand somehow collapsed on her and buried her. luckily i found her before it was too late. but she’s not looking so good.

Okay! i will go tomorrow and try that instead.. is there anything else i can do?

I am just using unfertilized soil i don’t remember the brand of it... and i spray it with water every morning so that she can dig easily in it. and it is in the same spot as last time she laid.

Yes, she does i just don’t understand why she is not laying all at once in the bin... instead she is laying one at a time in random spots...
