One eye closed

My male panther chameleon is closing one eye. He does not keep it closed all day. He will close it open it close it but sometimes keeps it closed for a good 10-20 min. Is this normal? I have 2 vields and they’ve never done this but have never owned a panther.

Try taking the vine out of the cage than if it stops keep the vine out and if it doesnt stop you will know that the vines are the problem however i suggest changing the plant because as your cham he will weight to mich to stay on a branch that thin

  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
  • Location - Where are you geographically located?
