Also underwatering. If they get too dry they will also drop leaves to conserve. Is the dirt often dry. They are water loving plants and like to stay evenly moist but not boggy.
Thank you it hit her hard right after laying... She's still drinking but not eating and today she's been very still. But it's stressful going to the vet anyway. She had a soak in warmed R.O.with some mineral dust dissolved into it. The vet and I thought that would infuse some water and...
The male was a LTC and the female was captive born there. She has worms and is not looking good. He looks great as does my CBB juvenile male. They've had no contact with one another. I was told by the breeder as well as my vet it would not hurt to worm once a year and because she has them it...
My female F.pardalis has a round worm so she went to the vet today and she gave me the following meds: Dosed per 50g animal wt.
Panacure 50mg/ml give 0.1ml
Flagyl 50mg/ml give 0.1 ml
With instructions to repeat in 2 weeks @ 0.5ml panacure and 0.1ml flagyl
Any thoughts?
I want to double...
@KingGoodman. The gardenia grows fairly quickly at first about 6-8" a year but slows considerably around 3' and it is current 4.5 ft. It has grown only 6" in the past 3 years.
So if you could get a decent sized plant it wouldn't outgrow your enclosures.
The Christ in the manger grows quickly...
I'm taking her this week and both boys will be wormed too. But will take them for a look over soon. I'm not counting my chams before they hatch but still very excited. As for eggs I don't really want to get rid of any as they are my first and very special to me. I want to keep a couple females...
YES! From a wonderful guy. He had an awesome set up. He answered all of my questions and showed me a few tricks as well. Queen B his mate laid 28 eggs and all are doing great. She on the other hand will be going to the vet this week because she'd been eating well but not gaining and today I...
I see...good to know. I have never seen another wild caught. I like to stick with cbb animals as a general rule. He was a long term captive so maybe that made a difference. My husband fell in love with a picture of him on FB. I was adamantly against getting this wild caught male and his already...
LOL he was behaving for the camera and that's only the 2nd time I've had him out in as many months. He tried to eat me when I put him back. But like I said I'm still a novice chameleon keeper so I have only Loki my CBB male to compare him too. He looks very much like the "classic" Ambilobe.Loki...
LOL quite the opposite I assure you! I LOVE him...he HATES me! I just saw a picture of a chameleon from another locale that looked just like him.

I baught Hulk from a breeder and importer. He is a LTC that was obtained as a juvenile and is approximately 2.5 years old. He is 17.5 inches in total length and 165g. I am not nearly experienced enough to know for sure but his color patterns are so different from other Ambilobe males I have...
