Thanks for the reply! I do have the space but since covid i might not have the funds for something as extravagant as another atrium ( the idea being utilize all the high end equipment already in use and save on cost ) but i do fear what you mentioned for sure which is why im hesitant to do so...
hai everyone its been a while! I hope you're doing well in these trying times. I have recently put a deposit down on my second chameleon baby which i am very excited about (hes a high white Nosey Faly from New England chameleons) I have a cage for it in its infancy through juvenile stages but...

Hai everyone. Something I thought might be happening did. My boy shed hard as heck while I was at work tonight. This was the only other thing I had maybe thought could be a possibility.
Did not go for the roaches lol
Thank you. He's coloring up much different from his brother that I'm following on a different media source so I'm really happy with him .Just hoping he is bored is all
Just the Calcium Plus no low D. And it's at about 11:45 minutes of both I just do it so he eases into the light cycle sort of as a Dawn dusk thing. I'll adjust those 15 minutes for sure though!
Well buffalo tends to the coldest place on earth so he wont be getting any outdoor sunlight until our summer comes back. So you're saying once or twice a week of the Calcium plus is enough? or if i were to switch to daily dusting go with the Low D? (sorry if im misunderstanding)
i really...
Wow im not sure why i didnt even realize that as being an issue. Was there a daily dusting you would recommend after this period off that you would recommend? I was using this as my daily as recommended by my breeder.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 4 months old, i have had him for 2 months. Hes a male panther chameleon.
Handling - Not once, ive offered my hand to him once a week but never forced him on to me.
Feeding - Ive fed him strictly small to medium crickets for the entire two months. 10 to 12 a day...
The cage will be screened by the looks of that link! That's what I prefer anyways! And thanks for the suggestion I will definitely keep that in mind when it comes time to buy it. I need to get on the list for that cage though cause I think the next build out is in December which would be perfect...
Hi everyone. It's been a bit since I've updated so I figured I would! I've finally got my temps stabilized to 72-74 degrees Fahrenheit and basking spot to 85. With humidty always between 55% and 75% ( i get it to 80 before i go to work around 5 so that it stays up and drops back down before...
Hey all so my cham shed yesterday. He got most of it off but now im starting to get concerned because his face is all that is left for the most part and its been over a day! (its my first cham and first time seeing shed so im not sure if this is normal or not) everything ive read says to do just...
"Handling - I take her out 1-3 times a day and let her walk around and play on plants (which I know are cham friendly)."
seems a bit drastic! I've had mine for over a week now and haven't touched him once... that alone sounds stressful! a less traffic'd area will probably help too.
thanks and yes absolutely, i moved it up a bit and ill keep an eye on that spot (his main basking branch) and keep adjusting as need be.
Thanks for all the help everyone!
