I didn't fill out the form because his lighting and enclosure are fine. Also, he eats perfectly fine as well with vitamins and calcium too. His mouth is not what I was asking about. He cut his mouth in the front and has been healing up. It scabbed in the front. He has medicine for it too. His...
Hey guys,
So, I have a young Panther Cham and we have had him for a long time now. He is still under a year old and has been thriving. (I don't want to waste time filling out the form so please don't respond if that's all you want to tell me) We haven't had a problem until he shed this past...
Hey guys, so our baby panther cham is having some issue with his face and left eye. It started with what looked to be mouth rot but we have been using reptaid on and off every so often and the mouth issue seemed to clear up. Now, we are left with this. He seemed so good a few days ago but not he...
Thank you. After all the research I've done it doesn't look like mouth rot to me either. I'm going to take a q-tip with some water and see if when I gently rub it if it removes whatever is there or if it leaves the q-tip bloody. It looks more to me like a cut but I have no idea what could have...
Hello everyone,
We have had Lewis (baby Panther Cham) a few weeks now and so far he has been doing great. He eats good, sleeps, and drinks really well. However, about a day or so ago I noticed this red spot on the right side of his mouth. It is not in the corner though with strikes me as odd...
I just wish I knew what was wrong so we could have maybe done something differently. Everyone says that we did all we could. He was wild caught and sick when the owners of the store got him. We took a huge risk getting him, but I am happy that we were able to give him a good home up until this...
They have solutions you can mix with your water to take out anything that may be harmful to them. I live in AZ and have incredibly hard water so I typically just used bottled water.
I just wanted to update the few of you who were helping me with my baby cham. Unfortunately he did no make it. We knew he was sick when we got him and did our best to save him. It is so sad to lose our little baby however, we are happy he is no longer suffering. I am truly heartbroken. RIP Baby...
I have a friend with a beardie so I'm giving them to their little guy who I'm sure will love them. When I say these guys are big, I mean they are ginormous!
I think breeding them would be good if I had more animals to feed them too. We are in the process of starting a colony of Dubias so I may just feed the local birds like you said. I live in AZ and the mixture of heat and humidity makes them grow like crazy!
What do you guys do with oversized hornworms that your cham can no longer eat? I have an entire container filled with over 20 hornworms that have quadrupled in size in just a few days. I mean one is bigger than my pointer finger. They were expensive so I don't want them to go to waste.
I should...
Okay, so after a long (rough) morning, Henry the baby veiled is in good hands. He is with the store owners getting much needed medical treatment. This morning when I turned his lights on he wouldn't open his eyes or move. I made the jug from above and cleaned out his enclosure. I went to put him...
He is okay if i take him out on a dowel style stick. He will usually start on the stick and then willingly crawl onto my hand. I just stopped taking him out to avoid added stress. I will try to take him out today onto my patio to see if he will possibly eat for me outside.
