I agree with @Andee, although I'm no expert

    Do they need insect variety?

How sure are you that "he" is a male? Chameleons aren't stupid; they might go on "hunger strike" but they won't let themselves starve. Pics would help @BabyChamCham

    Do they need insect variety?

My friend has a chameleon, though I do not (yet) and he was asked me if it was alright to feed his chameleon super worms only. I said I didn't know. I also have a question: do they NEED crickets or can they be fed a variety of worms?

    Female Spaying...?

Thanks:) I've heard both sides (spay or don't spay) and I've heard that it's more beneficial tipsy and that it's more beneficial not to spay. I guess it all comes down to the opinion of the owner and the individual cham. I most likely would not spay a female if I were to get one, but I was just...

    Female Spaying...?

To start off, I don't even have a female; just a question. To my understanding, some people spay their females to prevent possible future egg binding, etc. But 1st: Does a spayed female still need the same cage temperature/humidity levels as an unspayed? And at what age can they be spayed at...

    Spider in my cricket box

Almost looks like a brown recluse...if it is it is HIGHLY aggressive and is *VERY* poisonous!! While brown recluses can look similar to wolf spiders, wolves tend to have thicker legs and can be slightly on the fuzzy side. Do NOT let your chameleon eat the spider. Brown recluse's bite alone can...

    Cleaning

In my cage I'm going to have a plain soil substrate on the bottom covered by a type of carpeting plant. I will also have potted plants in the enclosure. However, since I will have plants growing directly in the substrate, how will I go about cleaning? I know I'll hose down the potted plants, but...
