If you want us to find the age I would give us the size of your chameleon so we can know if it is big or not sinc eI cant see its colors.

Yeah they shoot their tongue at their sheds to help it come off. Totally normal... and gross

Yep mine eats his shed also. It's equal parts gross and hilarious Now that you mention it, watching him grab onto his eye-flake with his arm and rip it off/throw it to the ground was possibly one of the most rewarding moments of chameleon ownership.
