Thanks for the quick follow up this is what I figured. I don't have a meter to test the output of the light, I'll just go ahead and change the bulb now. Better safe then sorry need to make sure my chameleon gets a nice tan. :)

I think a misting system is pretty much required if you want to be serious about your chameleons care.

Funny after starting this thread the very next night he had a whole new Pajama Outfit while sleeping. His usual slightly lime markings where bright yellow. I haven't seen them go yellow again yet tho.
