You can feed them carrots but I've found Potatoes to be the best. Just cut potatoes in half and place face down in the oats.
They will eat all of it pretty much except for the skin =)
Make sure you clean up the rotting veggies! !!!!!!! Swap out the potatoes every 4 days =)
Personally never trusted the dial types always have used multiple digital... moisture over times seems to affect the analogue dials which to me is silly.. hehe
My house is naturally dry i use a 10ltr humidifier on a humidity probe which keeps my tanks at 55% - 70% i also have another humidity...
Hey all, just wanting some ideas or feedback on the Hybrid enclosures they offer..
My place is dry and even with my Zilla / exoterra (flex ( cages)I've had to cover sides and back. .
Anyone use the pvc cages at present just full screen?
My thinking is should be the same results as present...
I use them inside. . 3 sides are covered with core-flute because my place isn't humid enough.
They are safe and strong enough and the nylon is tough but against a big bird or cat... not sure if the swooping or stalking would be good for well being. .
Pull the hose off and see if water is being pumped to the hoses. If yes, blocked spray nozzels
If no, pump might be gone. Does it sound like its pumping or atleast working?
You can use any tube as long as it is designed for RO or high pressure. CLEAR pvc won't cut it. All the fittings are designed to work under huge amounts of pressure so thatis why they are difficult to lock in. You may have a faulty connector but recheck the hose isn't crimped or not pushed into...
He is light and seems relaxed whenout and about... i know his basking colors and his stress color because when I've cleaned his cage out i put him on a piece of hose and he stays so still and turns almost black. .. when he's out on my arm h3 goes to a gorgeous teal color..
Hopefully he stays...
Most people say that chams don't like to be handled and it's a huge stress for them... my male panther (6 months old) is always so eager to get out and sit on my arm...
I was cautious at first because everything you read says they stress the only thing that I could put it down to was he hates...
I have panthers... i had glass enclosures but lots of people said they'd end up with RI... i lost a girl from unknown causes my others were okay in the glass. I just want to do the right thing for the little buggers
Hey :) just thought id ask, to the guys and gals living in naturally low humidity areas how do you counter this effect on your little chams? I have humidifyer and a mist maker, I spray 2-3 times a day but it typically just lowers the temp and it's difficult to keep humidity up! I have a hybrid...
Hi. I was hoping to clarify something which i hope that i will get a specific answer and not a general one all feedback however is apreciated.
I have a bedroom with 24/7 air conditioning running at 75 degree F
Everyone always says screen cages but with the aircon running humidity is difficult...
She doesn't keep her mouth open, just opens it every now and then like a breathing thing, there isn't any bubbling from nose.
Also I had the tank sitting around 91F, which I have lowered a bit now,
I buy medium sized crickets.
She has never been a huge eater.
I will get some vitamins and calc without D3.
Any recommendation for a supplement/brand
... The screen cage, I can't put them in a screen cage because I'm worried about water spray, I'm in a rental, the glass tank I have is...
