My Veiled that still remains nameless

I'm no pro, but he looks good to me. I'd name him Donatello.

    It's been a while but I'm a 1yr old

Although I don't know his hatch date, I do know what day I received Pop-Tart. On December 29th 2015 I received Pop-Tart and he was supposed to be 6-8 weeks old. So, he should be a year old now. We haven't been on for a while so we thought we'd stop and catch up. In voice of Pop-Tart I've grown...

I cleaned the poop out earlier today. Some are still dying. I'm going to give it time.

    Dying hornworms

I bought about 60 hornworms from mulberry farms about 2 weeks ago. They were healthy; and I was so pleased with my purchase. I just got home from a week in the hospital. I had someone caring for my pets while I was gone. When I returned I discovered most of my hornworms to be dead. Slowly over...

Trying to bring back t. perreti

If you're the only one with this species; then wouldn't every offspring after g2 be inbred? How do you plan to sustain a healthy line?

    Emergency enclosure

Guys, I think I found the cheapest and easiet emergency enclosure. A pop up hamper. I bought one that unzips on the top and the side. Pop-Tart has to spend some time outside tomorrow, for quit a while. I won't be home and I'm nervous about other people watching over him. I came up with this. I'm...

Biting the hand that feeds you

I was wondering if any one has been bit while hand feeding? Pop-Tart hasn't bitten me, yet. I'm curious because he's no longer afraid of my hand. He will walk right up and munch on food from my hand. He doesn't always use his tongue though. I'm a bit nervous he might bite my hand on accident...

    Veiled chameleon age

He seems too small for 7 months. I'd guess like 3-4. However given your description that can't be right. What ever age he is, he's really small. My chams 7 months and way larger, and he's small for his age. The photo of him in my hand is over a month old.

    Help

He appears to be a little sickly looking, maybe mbd. I could be wrong. I'd wait for a more experienced member to comment. Some chameleons just really hate any interaction.

    Eggs outside of bin

So today I opened my cricket bin to get Pop-Tart some food. I picked up a toilet paper roll that was in there to shake some crickets into my cup. On the bottom I noticed a huge pile of white things. For a brief moment I panicked thinking flies had gotten in, and they were maggots. I poked at...

    Cricket eggs

To be honest I leave my bin empty. My laying box is soil though. It's easier to clean plastic.

    Cricket eggs

Sometimes you can see them through the container of it's clear. You could dig through it, but it might damage the eggs. I honestly just "ignored" mine until they hatched. I kept them moist, but didn't mess with them otherwise.
