I have a 5 month old baby panther from Kammerflage Kreations. His name is Louie, and something is wrong with his tongue and his appetite. I am in desperate need, as he is not an adult yet.
Chameleon Info:
The Chameleon - Louie is a Male Panther Chameleon that is 5 months of age. I have been...
I just tried to get my baby veiled out for the second time. He's only four moths, and so I"m going to start trying to handle him more so he can come out in the summer. Anyways, I went to get him, and he got around my hands from his branch. Should I try again in an hour, or just call that a day...
Putting them in a free-range setup is so much less stressful for them, as opposed to a cage. This is because they are very territorial, and confining a huge ego to a tiny space gives very little wiggle room to the person wanting to handle their cham. Jannb has some really simple, yet amazing...
Ok, so I got a teeny tiny panther baby from Ed, Liddy, & Briana about 1 1/2 months ago. Since then, I have not attempted handling, as I want him to be a pleasant adult. He eats his crickets from my hand every day, and has been for the better part of the time I've had him. Briana told me this in...
I guess it's confirmed Louie likes Lana. Vocals fall partially in that range, which I guess is why it's a thing that talking to your chamy helps with familiarizing yourself with them. Learn something new every day :)
This reminds me of the movie with Shia LeBouff- Holes. The bearded dragons were poisonous, and the Warden kept her rattlesnake poison in her nail polish.
I really like your setup, it looks very clean and overall aesthetic. I can tell your little guy (or gal) agrees with me from the second picture :) Just make sure the chamy isn't without proper light and temps for too long. A little more material to climb on might make them happier as well...
So I'm not sure if there are any audio buffs on here, but how low do they hear? As a producer, and audio engineer, I have to wonder just how much they do hear. One thing my little guy, Louie, really enjoys is when I play Lana Del Rey on vinyl in my room. He always comes to the front of the cage...
Hello All!
Lately, I have been deeply intrigued with a couple different species of chameleons thanks to jpowell86, jajeanspierre, and jannb. Of those intriguing species, I have taken a particular liking to the Quadricornis/Gracilior, Meller's, and the Parson's. If I had to choose which one...
I wouldn't risk the 2" ones. My cham is about 4 months, and his can't be but 1/2 inch wide. The rule is that you're not supposed to feed chams anything that's wider than their heads, or a firefly. In my experience, I have seen that they can handle slightly bigger critters, but it's all up to...
I agree with jpowell86. Her ribs look fractured pretty badly. Was he ever dropped, or maybe fell off of a branch? Tiny siblings with wondering hands? You should probably go to a vet and see what they can do. Also, has she ever birthed any eggs? I hope she's ok and that you figure this out :)
