Thank you. I've lowered one of his perches too in an attempt to discourage him from climbing on the roof and burning himself. He still is in great spirits! He's now obsessed with my Christmas tree, I need a 7ft replacement plant on the hurry.

Thank you jannb, he's so handsome I'm doing everything possible to care for him. There is a reptile vet I'm calling very shortly otherwise there's one more that I've been recommended. He looks happy enough this morning.

The tongue thing has only happened today and literally for seconds. The first two times I thought he was choking as it was after food. Then he did it for no reason and again a bit like he was choking, it was only for a few seconds and I didn't get chance to do anything as I looked in horror...
