I had an egg start to sweat and about 2-3 days later it was slit and the baby hatched normally. Now i have another egg that was sweating but 5 days have passed and no slitting? From what ive read this usually means the hatchling is going to be dead inside the egg. How long should I wait before...

How soon after completely emerging from the egg and walking around to the hatchlings start taking their first shot at eating.

So the egg that was sweating has multiple slits at one end. But its been like this for about a day with no movement inside the egg.
