Yeah I've noticed he's been a little cranky the passed 2 days but I definitely let him have his space. I only take him out when it is on his terms haha...I've posted before about his estimated age because I wasn't sure when I got him but I've been guessing he is about 9-10 months...what do you...
Ah thank you so much I think I agree with you and am going to go with the Dragon Strand cage I like the solid sides. I actually have a screened cage right now and winded up putting covers for the 3 sides to keep the humidity up and it really helped so Dragon Strand it is!
A little over 2 weeks ago I recently adopted my male veiled chameleon, Bubby, from a not so good living situation. To be frank I was a bit nervous due to some of the things I heard about them being a bit cranky. Honestly though this guy has apparently fallen in love with my hair so we watch...
Yeah it is a screen cage but I actually added a cover on the 3 sides to keep the humidity in. I am planning on getting a bigger cage but for the time being I am going to try to drain system with just drilling the holes in the bottom
Yeah I was actually thinking of making my own but I was wondering if it would be cheaper in the long run to just buy one? By the way I think I had spoken to you about my cham being dehydrated and starting the shower sessions? I've been doing it 2 times a week and he is doing great!
Hey everyone,
So I plan on purchasing a new and bigger cage for my lovely male veiled chameleon...I saw an overwhelming amount of different cages online and from what I read on the forum's care sheet he needs 24x24x48 cage so I would love to hear what everyone's opinion is on the best of the...
Yeah that would be so horrible if that was the final setup haha but currently I do not I actually got some more types of foliage I ordered off amazon that I plan on setting all fancy in his cage when I get home (I love spoiling him) lol but I will most definitely take a photo when it is all done!
Oh no that was before I set everything up! The cage is completely different now I was literally in the midst of setting the cage up when I took that photo. His cage is literally filled with foliage...I also have an automatic misting system and a timer for all of the lighting/misting system. When...
Hey everyone,
So I recently adopted a male veiled chameleon from a not so good living situation and from what I read online it seems that my little guy might be about 8-10 months old, but I was wondering what your opinions are?
Hey everyone,
So I've been a new owner of my 9 month old male veiled chameleon for about 2 weeks now and I'm having some difficulties with his cage setup. I have all the right things that I need but I'm having a problem with the whole flooring not absorbing enough water. I currently have a...
Hey guys,
So I have been giving my cham shower sessions because he was pretty dehydrated when I rescued him from a pretty bad living situation I got him a drip system because he wasn't doing well with a misting system. I have the drip system in place now and he is kind of just staring at it. I...
Hey guys,
I recently adopted (saved) a 8-10 month old male veiled chameleon. Originally I was told by the previous owner that he was being fed crickets/super worms daily BUT I do not really trust the person giving the advice. I am planning on starting him on crickets tomorrow so I am wondering...
Thanks for responding because I'm kind of freaking out haha...okay I'll try the shower today and hopefully that'll give him a boost I'm just hoping it the dehydration isn't too bad. Not to sound ignorant but since his urate isn't extremely dark yellow/orange do you think the dehydration isn't...
