Our beloved pet, friend, and family member, Kaiju has unfortunately passed on today. Me and Justin are absolutely heartbroken. He was old in age and getting on in years. The Texas freeze and constant temperatures of 50-60 degrees with no power did a number on him. While we thought he was...
Got my scale baby Kaiju on August 20th, 2015 from a breeder in Austin I think he was younger than 6 weeks but I can't remember. Kaiju has been fed a variety of insects ( crickets, superworms, hornworms, and currently dubia and orange head roaches) that are gutloaded from carrots to mangos...
It has now been 2 years since I got Kaiju from a breeder on my birthday. :) I'm getting a very beautiful custom made enclosure for Christmas made from wood (not pine or cedar and I'm using a polyurethane sealant did my research lol). It's been a while since I posted here but it was that time of...
I've gone through 4 UVB bulbs in a single month. I have no idea why they keep going out. I've tried almost every brand from Reptisun to ZooMed to this off brand. The bulbs are in a ZooMed dual dome lamp and it's well ventilated 10 inches from Kaiju's hibiscus. All of these replacement bulbs are...
None of my local super markets had a great variety of chameleon safe food that was organic. I live in a college town so organic stuff sells out fast. I did find some papaya and collard greens though but it's not organic can I still feed it to my Kaiju or crickets? Thanks!
Some of you may remember in August 2015 I lost my beloved cham Kaiju then found him really hurt, took him to the vet and received some medicine for him. Well here's some pictures of the grown up Kaiju :)

Anyone have any experience with having a Mulberry tree for a chameleon? I live in Texas and since Mulberry trees are native here I'd figure it'd have a better time growing and staying healthy. Are Mulberries safe for veiled chams to eat?

Hi everyone my veiled chameleon who is about 4 weeks old and is as large if not a little larger than my hand has escaped from his cage. I was going to be late for marching band so after I fed him his 10 or so dusted crickets and misted him with my mister (I mist him about 6x daily) I totally...
