I was thinking of encorporating one of those mood enhancing bulbs that we northerners use to fight off the effect of seasonal effective disorder in my Chams cage. It's just like a regular bulb I use to heat the cage now but it is a full spectrum light. Does anyone use these? Are they safe for...
UUUGH! What took me so long to understand this?!!! If I notice him drinking from the cap with the dropper can I reduce misting? I must 3 times a day for one minute right now.
Ok so recently I suggested on another site that Chams should not be drinking water from a glass at the bottom of their cages and gave a few reasons why that is. I got completly grilled by almost everyone on there and got chased out of town more or less. Am I totally off base here? Would...
This thread is all about all the not so often discussed nuances and new priorities that come with Husbandry. Today I was thinking about the impact that my chameleon has had in my life. I sat at my desk thinking about how now instead of hitting the snooze button six times every dreary morning...
I caught my cham napping today around 6 p.m. today. Its the first time that ive noticed this. He looks healthy otherwise. The cage is in my room and im in there only two hours a day.

Thanks Ryu
I'm excited to start planning the build. The cheapest I could find an adult screen cage was 110 dollars on Amazon. I'll save a bunch making my own.
I'm thinking about retrofitting a screen cage on top of my glass terrarium. I'm thinking this will make for great airflow while allowing humidity to be captured at the bottom. What are your thoughts? The specs are 2x2x4
Dont worry
If You have a specific question people will answer if they know the answer. Some people just don't know the right answer so they don't want to give out bad information.
Wow!
These are all amazing! I'll post my own soon. He hasn't colored up much but I'm hoping he will fire up when he gets a little older and more situated.
