I have a blue bar ambilobe chameleon, he's about 6 months old and it makes me nervous because when he is in his cage he is darkish colors and when I hold him his colors are pretty. Ill post pic's, help please!
So about a week ago I got a Blue bar ambilobe, when Itake him outside he turns all pretty colors but when he is in his cage he gets like dark blues and his eyes are like dark purple.. is this normal?:(
Oh wow! I didnt know that they self prune themselfs, thats cool, and I just changed the uvb light today so If I hang it on the side of the cage the plant will grow thicker?
All my chameleons do that same, He's just cooking the crickets he just ate in the sun, I was worried but the vet told me hes just digesting the food in the sun! No worries! :D
If it was me I would keep them, all I would do is spray a product called Healthy Habitat by Natural Chemistry on them. Spray them down real good, give a quick scrub and then seal them in a ziploc, They are pretty pricey so I would keep the ziploc in your closet or somewhere that the bag wont get...
All great responses! My only problem is I wanted to use big sticks and tie them together, I cant really bake them.. or soak them in water unless I bring them to my girlfriends pool haha! but there is chlorine in there..So ill have to just work with small sticks or buy a medium sized tree, Does...
So I was sitting watching my chameleon Marley walk around on his screen, he seemed that he wanted to get out because he saw me. So I opened the cage and he immediately went to my hand. I thought of an idea. What If I cut a 9x9 inch square in the screen, make a boarder that fits onto the screen...
When I went to feed Marley I noticed that some of the leaves at the bottom of the plant were turning yellow and falling off but the ones at the top are fine. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I should do like buy a plant light or something? :(
