Male Ambanja and Full Set up

EDIT: Price Drop- $650 for Everything. I really need to find him a home. I didn't put this in here earlier, but, my Mom passed away a few months ago so I am having to go back and forth between NM and AZ to help my Dad. I don't want to let him go, I have so much invested in him, but this is a...

Here's my boy's picture progression.... This is DZ(AKA: Derek Zoolander, you know, because he's really really ridiculously good looking) This was when I first got him...about 4 months old. This was at about 6 months.... About the same time, LOVED his white Jammies...not even close to...

What do you think of my set up?

Keep in mind that you have a vitamin with D3 in it so make sure he is only getting D3 twice a month. I can't comment on the quality of that one, I've not used it before. But you shouldn't have to use both the vitamin and the calcium with the D3 if the vitamin has the D3 in it.

10.0 is fine, just make sure you have plenty of plant cover so the cham can get out of it if they want to. I've always done 10.0 for my panthers. I use arcadia bulbs now though, they last longer.

    Oh crap!

Ive been MIA for a while now and this is one of the first things I read coming back on.....I need this giggle. Although I don't mean to laugh at your pain @Scottsquatch, it was still pretty funny. @Andee I'm really creeped out by the spiders....and the fact that you talk about them like they...

Any reptile rescues in Albuquerque, NM?

I can't imagine doing a rescue. My vet before I moved asked if I would be willing to take anything reptile he had come in that needed a place but I had to decline since we were a week from moving. My husband would probably want to shoot me too if I did. :D I would have a hard time letting...

Any reptile rescues in Albuquerque, NM?

True. And he's cute. Like I said, I was just wrestling with myself on it. Didn't really want to but was kicking the idea around though since he was an unexpected addition.

Any reptile rescues in Albuquerque, NM?

LOL, yes, you did! We talked back and forth a lot through private message and on his thread. It's been a while though. I'm the same way. Both him and my panther are not fans of being handled and I really don't care. I really enjoy watching them and the whole husbandry thing. They don't...

Any reptile rescues in Albuquerque, NM?

I'll keep that in mind for sure. I'm still wrestling with myself on it. I adore him but didn't need to take on another reptile. LOL. I know it's more my own reservations knowing what all I did to bring him around and would be devastated if he ever went down that path again. You know, you...

And someone who is going to be willing to spend money for checkups to make sure he's still doing well.

Any reptile rescues in Albuquerque, NM?

Not much but the need to make 100% sure supplements are on point. He's not a big eater so the dusting is important to make sure what he does eat is dusted. He's become really shy and hides behind his plan most of the time. The only time I see him out is when nobody has been in the room and I...

Any reptile rescues in Albuquerque, NM?

Haha...no. I'm actually thinking of finding a place for Hansel. He is doing so well and I took him on a whim because he was so bad. I adore him and I'm still on the fence about giving him up. But if I decide to find a place for him I want to make sure they can handle his needs.

    Chameleon Walking Funny?

Do you not have a calcium with D3? A calcium with D3 should be given twice a month as well. The D3 is needed for his body to use the plain calcium.

    Moving with Chams...he is pissed!!

We're all moved and everyone is back in their permanent cages. They were in their temp cages for about 2 1/2 weeks being kept mostly outside(I brought them in at night since our new house is out in the mountains and there are all kinds of predators. Hansel didn't mind the temp cage and outside...
