Dark ridges after shed today... Normal with age?

After a quick inspection of other chameleons at the local reptile store today, plus your opinion, I feel much better about this, and won't worry any further :)

Dark ridges after shed today... Normal with age?

Karma here is between 4-6 months, his exact age is unknown. I went to the local reptile store and took a look at some of the other chameleons at about his size, and the ridges had the same coloration, so I'm definitely more at ease now!

Dark ridges after shed today... Normal with age?

Nope, no abnormal blinking! The only extended periods of blinking are when I'm misting, and that's because he likes to run into the warm spray and drink it :)

Dark ridges after shed today... Normal with age?

So my little guy shed today! Right on time, he's been every 3 weeks like clockwork. I took him out for a little bonding time (I know some people advise against this, but he comes out by choice, I never reach in to him!), and he was just about to fall asleep, turning his nice happy green, when I...

Just wondering if he looks okay!

Sorry for the rough photo quality, I snapped this on my cell phone! Today my chameleon acting a little... Funny. He was extremely hyper in his tank! Would not stop moving all day! He is 3-4 months old, confirmed male (tarsal spurs are definitely present). The only thing I've noticed today is...

    Would I need drainage?

Quick question about your plants! How are they tied into place? Fishing line? I mean, if they're freestanding thats awesome. I'm just curious :)

    Yet another likely silly question

I'm currently using the towel treatment for one of my python's who is in the same house, so that wouldn't be anything out of routine for me to change :) The fogger is pretty much running silently now, but I did turn it off because if its on for more than five minutes, he runs down to the floor...

    Yet another likely silly question

I have pics on my other threads of possible stupid questions. The setup is the exact same, minus the waterfall and substrate!

    Yet another likely silly question

I've actually managed to fix the fogger just now, to a point where its running silently and well. I've hooked it up and its working (%65 RH currently), but he's obviously disturbed by it. He's hanging out really low, should I remove it or is there any harm in giving little Karma a day to warm up...

    Yet another likely silly question

I have a 4 month old veiled chameleon, in an 18x12x12 Reptibreeze, no substrate, misted 5-6 times a day currently (you'll understand why). He eats normally, his urates are normal... But he has had 2 rough sheds because I can't keep his humidity over %30 for very long! I live in Canada, so this...

    Would I need drainage?

Thats pretty much exactly what I've started building over the last couple of days haha. My cupboard is a little bigger because I'll be using it as supply storage, but yeah. Thanks for the help!

    Would I need drainage?

At most, 4 inches of soil, with the appropriate plants for that depth.

    Would I need drainage?

Kind of thought so! Guess it'll be the old cupboard and bucket under the tank!

    Would I need drainage?

Hey! I'm planning a 48x24x24 screen cage with a Perspex box in the bottom with live plants. If I'm hand misting 3 times a day, would that soil still need to be drained? Or would it be absorbent enough to be released back into the air as humidity?

    Need advice on an enclosure!

Weight doesn't really concern me, besides it'd only be about 20 pounds. Keeping it open would mean you could just scoop out the soil and such, removing any need to lift it out again for a long time!

    Need advice on an enclosure!

I considered something similar, then I took into account the possible need to change soil! Having plants wrapped up in that lattice would definitely make that a chore I think!

    Need advice on an enclosure!

You my friend, just gave me an amazing conclusion! Thank you SO much! - EDIT: I can't find the post of your box, is there any chance you could post a link to it? I'm really intrigued with this solution!

    Need advice on an enclosure!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this concern! I mean, I understand that potted plants are the easiest way to go. It just seems so... Fake looking to me I guess is what I'm trying to say. I wish I could replicate the setup I had him in, but its definitely broken a lot of rules! I had substrate...

first good tongue shot of new cham

Thats awesome! Was that good timing, or a continued burst of shots? I still haven't mastered getting these!

    Need advice on an enclosure!

Hey guys, I'm going to be putting my Yemen chameleon into a 48x24x24 screen enclosure in the coming months, and I'd like to switch to completely live plants! The issue I'm having is I will be hand misting, and likely using a drip tray for drainage. That being said, is there a natural looking...
