Right then,
Someone at work has been calling Sheldon a SHAmeleon, rather than a CHAmeleon.
This has got me thinking, i know them as CHAmeleons, but i've heard a couple of people in the past refer to them as SHAmeleons.
How do you say it and what way is correct? Am I right to think this person...
Lol there is one pine forest round here and another just normal everyday tree forest and i was going to hit both in a day, i'll leave the pine one now.
Technically you've saved my legs too haha!
More time has passed, i stopped trying him on crickets for a while he has been eating hoppers and meal worms. He absolutely loves hoppers so I'm going to start breeding them.
Tried feeding him on Crickets again last night, literally no interest what so ever.
Ok, i take it thats Farenheit as you're in US so roughly 180C.
Is there any wood i should stay away from other than that left on the floor? Any type of wood i mean.
Cheers for the help so far!
Ok cool, so for the cham home I'll be leaving the saltyness on there as itll come off with mistings like you said, but for the leopard geckos who wont be misted should i just rinse with clean normal water then bake?
How long and what temperature should i bake? I've read 100C for an hour...
This weekend i'm going to go for a walk to look for some more decor for Sheldons house and my leopard gecko viv.
Few quick questions that i need a definitive answer on:
1. Should i de-bark
2. Wash/bleach/sanitise then rinse
3. Dry naturally or bake?
4. Scrub?
Cheers!
Quite happy how these turned out. He's so happy in front of the camera!

Haha you say that but most of the time he just runs and hides, I'd love a shot of him looking square into the camera but he's not interested:

That's right the downside is the AF motor, I've been looking at new lenses recently for the motorsport i shoot and...
Nikon D3100,
Nice and cheap (in the uk anyway) and pretty good bang for the buck.
Add decent lenses and the sky is the limit :

Here he is:
Apart from this he is otherwise happy! His poo looks good, drinks plenty and his urate is nice and white. Literally just the crickets.
Do you think i should try a different size then? Smaller or bigger?
Nothing has changed in his environment other than the addition of the...
I've just ordered some silkworms so i'll start giving him them aswel, I tried him on crickets again this morning and no interest at all! Took a hopper straight out of my hand though
He's happily eating meal worms and small hoppers by hand, all supplemented as best as I can. I give him the odd waxworm now and then and i keep a small dish with a few mealworms in his house so I know that he is eating when he doesn't have any crickets.
Since we got him I have been putting...
