Cha/Shameleon?

Right then,

Someone at work has been calling Sheldon a SHAmeleon, rather than a CHAmeleon.

This has got me thinking, i know them as CHAmeleons, but i've heard a couple of people in the past refer to them as SHAmeleons.

How do you say it and what way is correct? Am I right to think this person is an idiot?

It's a hard K sound, unless you are faking a bad French accent. Which I highly recommend when dealing with idiots. It will lower your frustration levels exponentially

Yea, it's a hard C/K sound, like someone said and it's like that in several languages so I don't know where they're getting the "sh" sound from.
