    Keep the chameleon or no?

Sure! I order my eggs in diapause, they arrive overnight with ice packs. Right away I take out a small amount and put the rest in the fridge. I place them in the container I am going to hatch them on, on a small new paper plate. I write the data on the plate just because I stagger my batches...

    Keep the chameleon or no?

To echo what everyone has said, check online. Personally, I have a "bug dealer". She does large bulk orders for everyone online and we pick up from her weekly. It ends up being cheaper and of better quality. Look around for something like that. The more variety the better as crickets and...

My Veiled loves for me to rub his eyes.

I'm 114% certain that he does not enjoy having his eyes rubbed. If he is still and allowing you, it is likely from stress. Their eyes are not meant to be rubbed and you are likely introducing all sorts of bacteria and making his condition worse. Please stop. Please research these animals. If...

HELP! I lost my panther Chameleon

I'm glad you found him! Don't leave him unsupervised in the future - an outdoor enclosure is a great idea because these little buggers are fast and sneaky when they want to be.

My new wild-caught veiled...he shows self-awareness via the mirror test

Yes, so many east coasters came our way! And wow - Texas would be quite a shock!! I've never been, obviously, but from what I've gathered I imagine it's the total opposite from Canada. Calgary is such a pretty city compared to my Edmonton. I get a lot of grief for not hating on Calgary (the old...

My new wild-caught veiled...he shows self-awareness via the mirror test

I do have my moments of being viciously un-polite, though. Like this morning when someone cut the drive through line at Timmies.

Yes - it was complete sarcasm, and then I went to bed so I didn't clear that up - sorry! Just poking a little fun :) I don't work on the rigs in Fort McMurray, don't worry. I'm an NDP supporting accountant in Edmonton - so I am everything that those from Fort McMurray hate. I'm under 50! But I...

Oh, we don't ride polar bears either. Only the noble Moose.

The major thing is how you spell a bunch of things wrong ;) like colour, honour, favourite etc... I've never travelled to the states but I've been told they call things by silly names, like calling pop "soda". I'm clearly a little Canadian biased. Oh and Dubia are illegal :(

I'm Canadian. Albertan to be specific - so the "canadianest" of Canadian accents come from here. There's usually an eh and a sorry in all of my sentences. ;)
